Bush calls for global isolation of Iran (AP)--He’s projecting again. Bush is the one who is globally and nationally isolated.
AN AMERICA THE UNAMERICAN POP-ED SPECIAL
Alex de Talkville Experiences a "Cosa Nostradamus" moment:
George W. has defiantly flipped the finger at Poppy Bush’s consigliere James Baker who has been sent on a mission to clean up Jr.’s mess with his so-called "bipartisan Iraq panel" which seeks to include Iran and Syria in its Realpolitik solution to the Iraq quagmire.
Any sane person knows that you do NOT say no to the emissary of the Texas Corleone family. When they make you an offer you can’t refuse, you don’t respond by threatening them with your Rapture Raptor.
Their God rules from the shadows of the old school intelligence community, freelance killers and the like. That is, if "reason" doesn’t work.
America is unwittingly experiencing a real-life Greek tragedy with this father-son rivalry.
What most Bush Jr. analysts have missed is the following:
W. did NOT go into Iraq in order to "one-up" his Poppy by advancing into Baghdad, occupying Iraq, and taking Saddam prisoner.
That’s only HALF of the equation. You gotta take the full leap to see the entire picture.
In W.’s clouded Captain Queeg mind, Saddam represents W.’s father. The abusive, cruel, evil, genocidal torturer and murderer of his own people, his own family, i.e. Jr. himself.
Now Saddam has been convicted by Bush’s puppet Iraqi court and condemned to hang.
The hanging of Saddam is tantamount to the hanging of Poppy Bush by PROXY.
But W. is making a fatal mistake. His fantasy of parricide will trigger a very real response from very real people. Dare we utter the "F" word?
Maybe we better not . . . .
Everyone misses JFK who has become a national icon. How much will people miss the psychopathic Captain Queeg Jr. after he’s lost all his marbles?
America’s global Greek tragedy is about to enter its final act.
