9/11 conspiracy theorists' movement thriving (AP)--You mean, "conspiracy science." How do you explain the fighter planes that were called down from intercepting the hijacked planes at the last moment? Or the fact the US government was in such a rush to ship the steel from the Twin Towers to China to be smelted down and recycled? In your heart of hearts, would you put it past these evil-doers to murder their own people? What do you think they’re doing right now in Iraq?
Consumer’s Guide: Watch out for that toaster oven you just bought from Wal-Mart’s. It might be part of the 42nd floor of one of the World Trade Center buildings. Or that brand-new cell-phone with all the latest features. What’s that text message you’re receiving from the ghost on the 99th floor? "My name is Jose. No, he’s not really reading ‘My Pet Goat’ to the kids. He’s checking his conscience, and thanking his God that he doesn’t have one."
Congratulations to The New York Judith Miller Times for its Pulitzer Prize winning reportage.
